PPS Shelters used in Exercise Unified Response.

Emergency crews took part in Europe’s largest disaster training exercise in early 2016 to test their response to a large scale incident.

The scene, based around a tower block falling onto Waterloo tube station in London, took place at a disused power station in Dartford, Kent with more than 1000 volunteers acting as victims. It ran for four days.

The PPS Rapid Pro 50 – 9’s were set up by the emergency services to help with triage of incoming “patients”. They withstood the high demands of an “incident” like this along with the high winds and rain experienced over the four days.
