PPS Appoint Administrator For It’s Global Markets
A new sales administration post has been created by Professional Protection Systems, one of the world’s leading suppliers of decontamination technologies and protective clothing, principally to manage the company’s rapidly growing markets in some 30 countries.
According to the MD of Milton Keynes based PPS, Mark Whitcher, over 50% of the company’s sales are now export led and it had become necessary to appoint an executive to give focus to a sector of the company’s activities that have, as he puts it, “grown like Topsy”.
Given the international flavour of the appointment it will come as no surprise to learn that the first holder of the new post, Veronica Borlenghi Munday, is fluent in four languages besides English. Her whole professional history has had a international flavour and includes work in the FMC sector, logistics, leasing as well as the tourist and IT industries. One of her first tasks will be to evaluate the service PPS gives to its distributors and customers throughout the world with a view to upgrading it. “We think it’s pretty good, and our sales figures prove it” says Whitcher, “but we have to keep raising our game in a very competitive globalised business.
