BREATHING APPARATUS

All PPS air fed full suits, half suits and breathing hoods require a safe and sufficient supply of air to ensure operator comfort and safety. A comprehensive range of breathing apparatus is available to cope with any emergency or routine circumstance and to comply with legislation and health & safety requirements or to fulfil the needs of Homeland Defence Initiatives from CBRN Incidents to Bio-Terrorism.

Masks, filters, compressors, fans, regulators, purifiers and air hoses are all available to compliment our suits and other safety products.

Based on twenty years experience, a comprehensive range of technical training and back-up advice is at hand from PPS.
Air Control & Filtration Panel
Feeds breathable quality air from your compressed air source to suit via air hose.

Equipped with three-stage filtration, pressure regulator and gauge.

Available wall mounted, panel mounted or as a free standing unit.

Choice of couplings available.
Up to two suits per panel, depending on sufficient air being available.

Air purifiers (CO removal) are also available.
Vortex Tubes
Enables breathing air to be heated / cooled, depending on site conditions.

Extremely reliable - contains no moving parts and requires no maintenance.

For use only with high pressure dry air supplies, and only suitable for operation with half suits and hoods.

Air Hoses
All hoses meet anti - kink test requirements and relevant safety standards.

Available with wired intercom connections if required.

All hoses are manufactured to meet your specific needs, being available in any length and terminated with couplings
to meet your on site requirements.

Hoses can be supplied on automatic or manually retractable hose reels, holding up to 75M of hose (manual reel), or 15M (automatic reel).
