DOWNLAOD OTHER PRODUCT LITERATURE PRODUCT LITERATURE

The concern of all healthcare providers is to ensure that, in the immediate aftermath of an incident, the response has the potential to deal immediately with large numbers of casualties, pre and post decontamination or infection, whilst keeping risks localised. This is known as
“Surge Capacity”.

These days, every incident plan should recognise Surge Capacity and calculate it as accurately as possible. To fail to do so could not only mean leaving casualties untreated for excessive periods but could lead to a localised breakdown in civil order.

PPS has a range of individual isolation units and mass isolation shelters with air filtration systems that minimise risks of contamination to healthcare staff and the immediate environment. Treatment of casualties is made safe and accessible by the use of a variety of well thought out features.

NEGATIVE PRESSURE ISOLATION SHELTER - OUTDDOOR
  • Isolation chamber insures state-of-the-art performance, reliability and speed of deployment.
  • Corrosion resistant anodised aluminium frame combined with chemical resistant fabric ensures long service life and reliability.
  • Large and efficient internal zippered airlock.
  • Sidewall and overhead attachment points for monitoring equipment.
  • Thermal screen reduces shelter heat gain.
  • Snorkelled ductwork for filtration unit.
  • Quick disconnection of chamber air pressure feedback tube.
  • Standard windows on each side and double end viewing portals.
  • Shelters sized for either three or eight casualties.
  • Can also be used as a positive pressure unit to keep contamination or infection out.
  • Extensive range of accessories.

AIR FILTRATION SYSTEMS
A comprehensive range of Air Filtration Units is available to remove harmful biological agents and airborne chemical particles. These units deliver either 400 or 1500 CFM

Air Filtration System incorporates state-of-the-art technology in particulate and chemical filtration.

System provides up to 100 air changes per hour when coupled with the largest chamber and air flow is unobstructed.

ChemPak Carbon Adsorber filters out chemical agents and has been tested at U.S. Army Lab, SBCCOM, Aberdeen, MD and displays 15 minutes of DMMP life at 99.9992% efficiency when challenged with 5000 mg/m3 DMMP (dimethylphosphonate).

HEPA filter is 99.99% “absolute” at .3micron particles for biological filtration.

Filtration control system incorporates chamber pressure indicators and audio and visual alarms.

Filtration unit monitors chamber vacuum and automatically adjusts filter CFM through a closed loop algorithm.

NEGATIVE PRESSURE CASUALTY ISOLATION SHELTER - INDOOR INFLATABLE
This quickly available Isolation Room provides a negative pressure environment within any convenient room such as a hospital ICU. It provides medics and the immediate surroundings with an essential protective barrier from infection or contamination.

FEATURES and BENEFITS
  • Air flow designed for optimum cleaning and filtration, thereby minimising dead space within inflated room.
  • Manufactured from fire retardant material.
